I also struggled for a while to figure out exactly what I thought and felt about Endgame. I certainly enjoyed it, and thought it was by and large well done, but for some reason it didn’t resonate. In the end, I think that’s because it was just that — an end. It didn’t feel new and exciting (even though I am excited for the next MCU phase) — it closed the story rather than opening, and for me that’s why it wasn’t so satisfying.
